De Shimano SM-BTE80 is een laadadapter die specifiek is ontworpen voor het opladen van de Shimano Steps BT-E8035 accu wanneer deze uit de fiets is verwijderd. Deze adapter maakt het mogelijk om de accu aan te sluiten op Shimano laders zoals de EC-E6000, EC-E6002 en EC-E8004. Dit is vooral handig wanneer u de accu binnen wilt opladen, bijvoorbeeld in een koude schuur of garage.
